Cold rolled plate production technology


Ordinary thin steel plate generally uses hot rolled strip with thickness of 1.5~6 mm as cold rolled blank. The main processes are pickling, cold rolling, degreasing, annealing, leveling, shearing (transverse cutting, longitudinal cutting), if the production of coating plate, as well as electroplating tin, hot tin, hot zinc coating or coating process. The production process of cold-rolled blank is as follows: hot-rolled coil (raw material) - pickling - cold-rolled - degreasing - annealing - leveling - shearing - finished product delivery.

In order to ensure smooth surface of strip steel, cold rolling and subsequent surface treatment can be successfully realized, the oxide sheet must be removed by continuous pickling machine before rolling. After pickling, the steel can be rolled, but due to the characteristics of the cold rolling process, the steel must be softened by annealing to a certain thickness. However, in the rolling process, there is lubricating oil on the surface of the strip, and the grease will volatilize in the annealing furnace, and it is difficult to remove the black spots formed on the surface of the strip by the volatiles. Therefore, before annealing, the strip surface grease should be washed clean, that is, degreasing process. The strip after degreasing is annealed in protective gas. After annealing the strip surface is bright, further rolling or leveling, there is no need to pickling. The annealed strip must be leveled to obtain a smooth smooth surface, uniform thickness, and adjusted properties. After leveling, the strip can be sheared according to order requirements.
